About This Project

The intervention is located in a mountain context at the Begovo Razdolje ski resort in Croatia. The building, the old school of the village, will be transformed into a hospitality unit. The attic in particular will be used as a suite. The internal redesign of this space aimed to maintain and preserve existing structures as much as possible. We tried to recreate a simple, functional and elegant environment that would immediately recall the warmth of mountain huts. The colors are white, black and mainly brown wood . The suite is organized as an open space of about 100 m2 plus services. Furthermore, in order to make the most of the height, given by the strong inclination of the roof, two mezzanines (30 m2), each with one double bed, have been planned. To optimize the space large cabinets-containers will be placed on the long sides, where the height is reduced.
